CHAT ETIQUETTE :


To make the WISE WEB CHAT chat rooms a comfortable place, we have developed Etiquette and Rules that we ask everyone to follow. Please abide by them when you're visiting this area. In addition, please take this opportunity to re acquaint yourself with the rules you agreed to in the Membership Agreement which follows this WISE WEB CHAT Etiquette and Rules section below. In order to participate in any or all of the activities on WISE WEB CHAT, you must check the box that you agree to follow all of the Etiquette, Rules and Membership Agreement. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor all chat rooms, discussion forums, and bulletin boards. Failure to comply with the Etiquette & Rules or Membership Agreement may lead to removal of your messages or termination of your membership. As you introduce yourself and join in chat, remember that at any given time users from all over the world are logged on. It's a good idea to avoid conversation that might offend someone. The idea is to enjoy and learn from others who share the desire to experience the latest in interactive global communication. Most WISE WEB CHAT chats are monitored by Chat Monitors and Chat Hosts who ensure that no one is abusive to other chatters. They have the prerogative of disconnecting ( booting ) unruly users. If you encounter someone who is disruptive, you should inform the Chat Monitor on hand or Customer Service.

THAT CAN PROVE USEFUL WHEN INTERACTING
WITH OTHERS IN A CHAT ROOM


  • Flooding, or filling the chat window with lots of messages, prevents other chatters from being able to participate in the conversation.
  • The same is true for executing emotions. Although generating all of that funny colored text is lots of fun, you can have too much of a good thing.
  • Go easy on the emotions to allow other users to interact in the room.
  • BY THE SAME TOKEN, AVOID USING ALL CAPS. It is the virtual equivalent of shouting and should be done sparingly.
  • In the non-hosted, open chat room please allow the interactions of all who are there to flow freely.
  • Anyone monopolizing the conversations in the open chat room will loose their membership to this site. The same goes for anyone using abusive language or offensive subject matter. Only one time of not observing this etiquette and the rules will cause the loss of access and membership to the WISE WEB CHAT site.
  • When you come in the room you will be entered to the list if you are paying to chat. It is first come first serve in the chat rooms. Members and Visitors who are only viewing will appear on a separate list.
  • Once on the list for chatting, that is your position, do not ask for your position to be changed.
  • If you do not answer when it is your turn, you will be moved to the end of the list. If you do not answer at all in the time your host is scheduled, you forfeit what you paid to chat. There are no refunds for missing your chat time except in verifiable emergencies or upon the validation of the room monitor of your computer issues.
  • If you are not in the room ( which means your user name does not appear on the list of those in the room waiting to speak because you have logged off the site or gone somewhere else on the site ) when your name is called, you will be removed from the list. There are no refunds for missing your chat time except in verifiable emergencies or upon the validation of the room monitor of your computer issues.
  • You can be in only one Open Hosted Chat Room at a time. If you pay to chat in multiple rooms and miss your turn in any of them you forfeit what you paid to chat. There are no refunds for missing your chat time except in verifiable emergencies or upon the validation of the room monitor of your computer issues.
  • If you encounter computer problems when attempting to stay in your room or enter your room – notify the room monitor immediately. Click on the room monitor's name and chat with them about your situation.
  • Do not attempt to chat while someone else is taking their turn. You will be booted from the room and forfeit the price you paid to chat. If this happens more than once and your membership will be revoked.
  • Be polite at all time, rudeness and disruptiveness will not be tolerated.
  • Once you have a nick name/user name . . . do not change it. Doing so will cause your removal from our membership roles permanently.

HOSTED AND FREE COMMUNITY CHAT ROOMS
YOU AGREE NOT TO:


  • harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress or discomfort to another WISE WEB CHAT member, subscriber, user, visitor, or other individual or entity using or accessing WISE WEB CHAT;
  • transmit via WISE WEB CHAT any information, data, graphics, text, files, links, software, or other materials ("Content") that are or may be considered to be unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, pornographic, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, or in any way violates any copyright or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any person;
  • impersonate in WISE WEB CHAT any person, including, but not limited to, a WISE WEB CHAT employee, host, or manager;
  • disrupt the normal flow of dialog in a WISE WEB CHAT hosted or open chat room or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other members and or visitors;
  • post or transmit any advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation to other members, in WISE WEB CHAT;
  • intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, including but not limited to any regulations having the force of law while using or accessing WISE WEB CHAT or in connection with your use of WISE WEB CHAT in any manner.
  • WISE WEB CHAT can not ensure that chat messages may not contain material that could be offensive to some.
  • WISE WEB CHAT does not monitor or resolve disputes between users; however, we will revoke the membership of users who are continually abusive.
  • Occasionally, WISE WEB CHAT chats may be transcribed and posted.
  • Your public chats in WISE WEB CHAT hosted or open chat rooms are not private.
  • WISE WEB CHAT reserves the right to reproduce any material you post. However, private messages between individuals are not recorded or logged.
  • If a visitor or member pays for and then misses their chat session they forfeit any monies payed. They may try to reschedule but this will not always be guaranteed. There are no refunds for missing your chat time except in verifiable emergencies or upon the validation of the room monitor of your computer issues.
  • WISE WEB CHAT does not verify any information posted by users or others or guarantee the proper use of such information by any party.
